tack says 0 rpm

so i fired up the truck this afternoon and my tack stayed at 0 rpm for a minute or so and then started working properly again, first time I've ever noticed it doing that. Any ideas why?

Check the connections going to the speed sensor on the balancer. Also check the gap. Somewhere around .040" should be good.
