T-Case rebuild? cost?
My transfer case has a wobbly output shaft to the front diff, wobbles pretty good if I grab the front driveline and wiggle it.
Its been like this for quite ahwile
just wondering what all I might be getting into when I tear into it, is there a way to fix it without dropping the t case?
wonder if I oughta remove the drive line now before it really lets loose until I get it fixed
truck in my sig

I have put a bearing kit in my transfer case when I did my clutch and tranny couple years back. In all honesty its not a hard rebuild to do and the kit was $180 for all the seals and bearings. If you need to do the chain and sprockets it gets more expensive, but I just did the bearing kit. Oh and you need a couple parts from Dodge as well like the spring clip on the output shaft bearing.

A friend of mine gave me a pdf of the FSM for an 01. The Transfer case is the same but it helped to show the internals and how to pull it apart.
