t-case interchage-abilty
are all the bolt patterns the same on all of the transfer cases for our trucks, also are all the automatic's shafts the same, looking for 94-04 for t-case to swap into my truck, i would like to use one from an 03 and up, all oppinions concidered

Bolt pattern is the same, but I don't think the spline count is always the same. I think that my 97 had a 23. My friends 04 also had a 23. I think some of the 3rd gens also had a 29 or 31 count but I can't remember for certain. Someone more knowledgeable than my self may chime in.
