Suspension? Thuren or Lorenz

So I'm looking at upgrading the suspension on my new Mega. Which way would you guys go and why? I don't do a lot of off roading, but I do some. I tow 5-6 times a year up to 10k. Most of the time it's a daily driver. I'm looking for a really good ride, off road/towing capability and increased height. I'm looking at the Thuren's kit with King shocks and Lorenz kit with 2.25 SAW shocks. Please give me your opinion.
Train.

I would go with Thuren. Simply because he can tailor a kit to your exact needs and that's what you pay for. He uses higher quality coils also.

I would go with Don's stuff also. Like t-boe said, he can set up spring rates and heights up front for your needs then valve the shocks accordingly. I don't know who makes Sean's springs but I do know Don uses a reputable spring manufacturer who uses quality steel so you don't have to worry about them sagging (like Skyjacker's junk). His track bar is the best out there. I'm pleased beyond belief with my stuff and wish I had more time to work it and more money to build off it!

After talking with Don today he is the only person I'd buy from. He didn't try tell sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. He actually told me to go a cheaper route. Just be honest with him in what you plan on doing with the pickup.

i was going to say the other way, but that is just me. Sean will set things up any way you want.

But looking at what you want out of the suspension I think you will be good with just a leveling kit and bilstiens.

Thuren or Carli.....you can see by my sig who's stuff I run.

Aside from personal experience, I've seen enough of the other two vendor's stuff on the shop floor after being replaced to make up my mind.

Good info

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I don't want to go the leveling kit route. I had the KORE kit on my last truck. I liked it just fine, but it would beat the heck out of me on my duck lease. I have a pretty good run to get back where I'm going and bumping around in my truck gets old. I'm looking for a much nicer system and comparing these two. I have end links from Carli already and boy are those some nice craftsmanship. I like the Carli kit's, but man are they pricey. I think Thuren has a heck of a thing going on and his prices are great. Keep the info coming gentlemen.

Hello,

I would say go with the LORENZ kit. The 2.5 Kit is great, I did the rear spring upgrade and WOW what a smooth ride... Have not been able to take out much, but when I did, the ride seam to get better the ruffer it got .

Sean is a gent to work with, customer service was second to none.

Regards

Thuren

I pulled the trigger today and went with the Thuren kit.
I got:
Custom valved 2.5 Kings
Towers
Reservoir mounts
Thuren track bar
Thuren Coils
Mini pack for the rear

I'm pretty about it. Can't wait to get the system on. I'll give a report and pictures when it's all done.

Did you say you already have the longer sway bar end links? If not, get those too.

Yes, I order them from Carli a couple of days before my last truck got totaled. They're sitting on my work bench.
