where can i look for replacement springs for a 93 w250 that won't bankrupt me? it sits high and i definately don't want to go lower. but it has 9 leaf springs w/spacer on the rear and 5 on front! is that even normal? also want to keep towing capacity. can't imagine how tall it was when first installed!

Define "bankrupt". Custom built springs from a place such as Alcan will run about $250 each. I don't recall how many rear leafs mine has - maybe 9 counting the top overload and little stubbies on the bottom of the pack. 5 on the front of mine. Yours sounds normal, even the big cast lift block in the rear. There' all kinds of posts about the suspension, new springs, reworking the old ones, poly bushings between the leafs, removing leafs and using air bags.
