Lightbulb Surging after driving on bumpy roads

I have a 98.5 ram. Just replaced the apps sensor not to long ago but it seems that when I drive on bumpy roads or dirt roads it makes my truck surge again like the sensor is bad. I have checked the grounds and put foil around the battery cable. Truck runs well just has this problem it also makes the truck feel as if something is holding it back like the brakes, but i have lifted up on the pedal with my foot and checked all the brakes and nothing. Just curious if anyone has ever had this problem.

Thank You

Are you sure everything is tight on your apps? That's the only thing I can think of. It would take much to get it out of adjustment & cause your problem. Mine was loose & did that.

I suppose that could be it, definelty worth a look at. I can reset my apps and it SEEMS to take care of the problem. Its just weird that it only happens when I have been on dirt roads in the mountains or really crappy paved roads. When its in that mode i can drive down the freeway and when i drive on a bridge and hit the crack between the bridge and the freeway it will cause it to surge. Its just odd.....

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what else it could be. It gotta be something to do with the wire connected to the go pedal.
