Superlift shock?

I bought my truck used with a Superlift kit already installed. I was told by the previous owner that it was a 4" kit. Is there a way to tell exactly what system I have? I am currently running 5100 series Bilsteins and am chewing up the black rubber bushing on the right front shock. Any one know why I would have this problem? Also I have a pretty loud "clunk" when I hit bumps on my right rear (that is where it sounds like to me). Does it sound like I need new shocks? Are the 5100 series shocks even the correct set up for my lift? Any input would help. The noise is driving me insane.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think those shocks will work with 4" of lift... I believe they are only good for 2-2.5" or so. Sounds like that may be your problem. Good luck.

That is what I think also. When I called Bilstein to order some bushing for my from schock they said that it doesnt match up. Do you know what shocks I need?

Not sure. Might want to contact someone like Don Thuren at Thurenfabrication.com. If he can't help ya, nobody can.

After some further investigating. I am running 5100 series in the front and 5125 series in the rear.

I have the 4" superlift in my DRW 03 but it doesn't have the Bilstien shocks.
Places like Top gunz customs list 3 different shocks available for the kit and the Bilstien 5100 are one of the options.
I need to replace shocks as mine has the Superride shocks and they need replacing. I am going to order new Bilstiens from them soon

Those were the same shocks that came with my 6" Superlift. I swapped the Bilstein's out last week (they were on my truck for 3 years). I noticed the same with the bushings. They were pretty torn up.

There should be a part number on the control arms and coils. Look up the number on Superlift's site for that part number. Should tell you what lift it is.

If you have one of the rear shocks off take a measurement from eye to eye. I think mine measured 34".
