Angry suncoast tranny power by poole

ok here the deal i have went trough 2 trannys in the past year first was dtt well it was a piece and bout a mounth ago went with suncoast all done by power by poole well the sun coast was custom built all billet with red eagle clucthes and triple disck tc nowi got 2500 miles on it had it serviced at 1000 miles after build by olee then 250 miles latter lost 4th gear sent the trcuk to olee redone verdrive and then rebuilt vb and just got it back thursday well went out last night again and same thing lost overdrive and tranny stayed in 3rd even after i stoped so what is up with this Edit i have spent over 12000 dollors in tranny work in the past year and still haveing problems so what do yall think help please!!!also does olee do good work i have heard alot of good stuff about him well now iam starting to wounder???thinks mike

How come the DTT isn't still going or under warranty.

cause i missed the first service after rebuild and which was my fault but i heard that suncoast was better but iam have alot of problems out of it but i am haveing service on time and everything it just aint working.

I know of quite a few friends that have DTT's and have nothing but good things to say about them?

I'd be callin up to Olee, I cant believe that you never got any warranty on your DTT just because an installer didn't do it.

sounds like it could be a warped/ damaged vb. it's not too common but it does happen.. I have seen tranies that work perfect till they get hot and the valves start sticking.
From what dealings I have had with him Olee is a great guy. He has helped me out over the phone when he didn't have to waste his time.
I hope you get this straightened out.

yea olee is a great guy it just iam getin tired of haveing to go trough this and i love this trasnny everything about it is great its just iam really not giveing it a hard tyime and i just keep haveing problems you know!

I hear ya problems like that can drive you crazy. Check the valves in the valve body for any sign of scuffing next time. I have a fealing it is in the vb.

Don't know how your stuff was put together, but total loss of OD under all conditions can be as simple as a boost valve.

I don;t know Olee personally, but he has been helpful the few times I have called him on the phone.
