Strange rattle
Ok here is a weird one. I have a 2001 2500 4x4 5.9 auto. When you are not under power but pushing the go pedal down there is a rattle. It is most noticeable when you are going down hill and are slightly on the pedal. If you let all the way off it goes away if you press it down and put under a load it goes away.
It is not brakes as no noise when brake are applied or any vibration at all feels good. Don't believe it is universals as they usually make movement when you are all the way out of the pedal.
This is the only time you can hear it and sounds like coming from rear end. Would the rear if the carrier starts going bad do this or what else should I check?
