Still No Reverse Lights
I made a post a few months ago, and didnt ever find a solution to the problem, and have gone wihtout reverse light since then. Well, I decided to fix it again, and did many searches and found that on the manual transmnissions, the culprit was usually the reverse switch on the transmission. I havent found very much concerning the automatics transmissions. Is there a reverse light switch on the 48RE? I have replaced the gear position sensor, and that did not help. Any other ideas. I am going to borrow a voltmeter and see if the bulbs are actually getting power, but Im not sure as of right now. The bulbs are new. Thanks for anyones help.

No Reverse Lights
I had a similar problem with my 04.5, 48RE. It turns out the fuse was blown. The service manager made some comment about probably caused by the wiring in my trailer. Funny thing though, I hadn't towed for over 6 months.
I think it might have had something to do with the rearview mirror. I think there is shared circuitry?
Anybody else have ideas on this?
Oh, by the way I had leaky cab lights and the water was dripping out around the mirror, makes one ponder the possibilities.
