My concern would be the airbag. I've thought about replacing my steering wheel. It's the only part on my truck I am not satisfied with. The horns somehow don't work. If I try to press the horn, it gets stuck on and it takes me about 2-3 minutes to get it unstuck, and seems to make everyone around me very angry.

There's got to be a fix for it. The Dodge dealer said "it seemed to work fine" for them! Not being real familiar with the airbag setup, I don't want to screw anything up by trying to fix a stupid horn.
Not to hijack this thread, but does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I too am interested in whether or not this can be done. My steering wheel is trashed (by the previous owner) and I can find a lot of newer style wheels used, but rarely run across the proper one.

what would the method be in to 'disconnect' the airbag so it doesnt go off when i were to unplug it? yellow plugs = no touch in my time of workin on these.

My understanding is that you unhook both batteries and let it sit for an hour or two to let any built up electrical charge dissipate, then you're safe.
I'm sure someone will correct me if my understanding is wrong.
