Steering very loose

I am at the point where I cant stand to drive my truck anymore because of the horrible steering on it...it wanders from side to side I have to constantly corect it I got pulled over by a cop one night coming home late he thought I was drunk I got off easy

Here is a list of what has been done;
Track bar new
checked whole front end
adjusted steering box
checked tire pressure
stock size tires

I hear you can get something that would stifen the front end and help with this problem

Is it just not centering itself, or is it loose, because i know if you adjust the steering box too tight, it wont allow the alignment to center the steering all the way.....just a thought.

I would take a look at a DSS as well. There is a fair amount of steering box/frame flex with the Dodge front ends. Not too expensive and easy to install yourself.

You might want to start with the DSS and if you still have problems, take a look at the Track Bar. <2003 Track Bars do not last very long at the ball joint. I'm installing my new track bar this weekend. I'll let you know how it works out.

Maybe this will work for you

Let me know, I'm looking at it too, but my steering isn't bad right now with new ball joints and an alignment.
