I recently put the dodge upgraded steering setup on my truck. The new setup the tie rods pop as bad as what it replaced in about 200 miles. It didn't come with a pitman arm, could that be the problem?

yeah the popping might be from rubbing on the frame i would definitly buy the pitman arm asap. it messes up the angle apparently

It doesn't rub the frame sitting in the driveway but you can feel it in the steering wheel and the tie rod on the pitman arm. The truck has a leveling kit on it but it doesn't seem to be at that severe of an angle. I'm going to visit the dealer in the morning and check with them about the pitman.

i dont think it will rub when its sitting still its when it is moving and articulating. the pitman arm on the upgrade is a less severe angle. i hear they can be a pain to get off though
