Steering Issue

When I am turning (mostly to the right) it seems that the power steering is not pumping enough. I get some vibration that makes it more difficult to turn at different points in the turn. It seems to do it worse when I am going slow and have the brake applied.

I have checked the PS fluid level and it is good. I do not see any leaks anywhere. I also added a bottle of the lube gaurd to the PS. Still have same problem.

Any thoughts?

Before you run out and spend money on a pump, read this thread it helped a friend of mine.

What else other than the power steering pump could cause these types of symptoms?

Nothing else. Your steering pump runs the hydroboost for the brakes too. If there's not enough pressure you will loose steering AND brakes. I'd replace the pump, they are around $ 75 reman.
