steering box

OK question. I need to replace my steering box on my 98 12v 2500 4x4. the problem is I have seen two different boxes offered by napa, what is the proper part number for my truck or is there a better than stock option for me to go. I just want to tighten the steering up. Right now I have about .5 turn dead space in my steering, I investigated and found that like 5-10 sline are completly gone from my sag. box, and its starting to seep pretty bad. can I rebuild it possibly or for 220$ im just better of with a napa reman unit? ok any help would be great.

Thanks

Chris wren

They can be resealed easily if leaks is only concern. From your description, suggest go for a replacement.
