In my 05 I have a noise comming from somewhere in amongst the stearing when i turn it jst to the left it makes a grinding noise a little hard to explain the sound... and it doesnt do it all the time... I thought maybe there was something rubbing it, bt no such luck... Does anyone have the same problem or any advice???

I would start by jacking the front end up and checking the ball joints. Are they still original?

They are still originals, my truck has 65,000 miles on it, ive taken well care of it, checked the whole front end, its nothing under the front, it sounds like its under the dash... but i see nothing rubbing, or where anything is grinding, idk...
