hi
i have a stear box that is leaking where the stearing wheel rod enters .

i know there is a seal on the shaft that is prob bad and i want to adjust the box while i am working on it sooo ,
is there any thing that seals the adjuster thread area < dont know if it can leak here ?>

also it is seeping fluid from between the aluminum cover <with allen screw adjuster> and cast iron box ?
is there a seal for here ?

sector shaft / pitman arm suprizingly is tight no wobble / no leak !

who selle these seals other than a dealer ? best price !!!!
do they come seperate or is there a kit ?
please include any pn you may have !

Im sure you can find a replacement seal someplace.. maybe contact a shop that does a lot of power steeting work?
I just replaced my gearbox with a psc unit since it was leaking and I hated the 4-turn setup anyhow. If you do this on a high-mileage truck and go with a more powerful gearbox Id do the steering pump while youre in there.

O'reillys has reman boxes for around 200 with lifetime warranty. I've been through 3 Next one I'm putting a DSS stabilizer on because they always eat through the sector shaft bushings.
