what temps?

Here are common things to check...

1. good batteries.

2. grid heaters.

3. fuel lines for leaks.

4. overflow valve.

5. check valves in lift pump.

6. injection pump timing.

hi
do what i am doing to mine this week end !

remove all bat terminals and clean them thoughly and add a electrical connection corosion inhibitor , this will allow you to get fastest cranking from starter . mine looked good till i removed them and saw new batteries installed without being properly cleaned!

also press the acelarator slightly when crankin to give it a touch of fuel .
ease out of the throttle till it idles on its own .

Does how you park affect how easily it starts? I.e. if the nose is up or down... if so then it is probably air in the lines. Even before they leak fuel they can let air into the system.

Sounds like a defenite fuel delivery issue if it's just cranking over and over. Replace the fuel lines, re-prime the system and that should take that out of the equation. If not, it's good to change the lines anyway if they haven't been replaced before. If that doesn't work, come back and someone will find the problem.

If you do replace the fuel lines make certain to use diesel rated hose, gas hose can't handle diesel for very long. I picked mine up at a local marine shop, pricey but I shouldn't have to ever do it again.
