Unhappy Starting Problem When Hot

For 2 years, engine won't start when hot. If weather is cooler, I can open hood and it will start after 1/2 hour. So on long trips, I keep it running. Runs great when it is running-never a dead pedal. Recently installed a FP gauge-15 at idle, 12 at cruise, 5 at WOT. I haven't had a chance to test it pulling heavy trailer. I installed a new Cummins LP about a year ago, but it didn't change the problem.
Normally, it starts right up after setting over night. More recently it has been erratic, sometimes starting right up and other times having to bump the switch a couple times when setting for a few days.
It almost seems like something turns a switch off when hot.
Anyone out there solved this problem?

It always turns over well and usually starts well when cold. No codes!
