Starter fuse blows when starting.
About once a week when I try to start my truck I hear a "Click" then nothing. All the electronics work but the starter. I check the 20amp fuse and its blown. I replace the fuse and it works for about a week or a couple of days then "Click". I keep a box of fuses in the fuse box. It doesn't mater what the weather is like or if its the first start of the day or the 5th. It happens randomly. Any buddy have any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks for the replies. I will be checking the connectons this afternoon. We have a good shop that can rebuild the starter if needed. The truck has 180k on the origanal one.

You likely don't need to rebuild, only replace the solenoid contacts. Rebuilds around here are $80-100. Contacts are $35 for the big thick ones.
