Ok so today i adjusted the idle down some because it was at about 1000 in park went to pick up a thermostat for it (by the way does anyone know where it goes: Water neck on passenger side of Truck right?) and when i got home opened the hood to make sure everything was good and i opened the oil filler cap and white smoke was blowing out. From what i can tell there is no oil being burnt and going through the exhaust, The oil is pretty clean but is now on the add mark. Never smoked anything out the filler tube when i got it at 203,000 miles and now it has 206,000 miles.( also i have installed a 3gsk,and #6 plate) What would cuase oil to burn inside the block and not have blow by through the exhaust?

This doesn't necesarily mean your burning oil...
Mine does the same thing in colder weather.
