Stacks with single cab? What do ya'll think?
I'm looking at getting a second truck and really like the single cab looks but have never had one before. I was wondering if having a single cab and a stack or maybe two, how that would sound in the cab. I love the loud noise but am not sure if it'll be real annoying or not. Possibly drive a bit in it maybe a few hours at a time. Or would it be better to stick with the 4 door. Truck year of 98-01. Anyone have suggestions on this, and pictures would help a lot of your exhaust setup, any type of setup! Thanks!

I dont have any pics but I run dual miter sixers! love the huummmm, to some it is annoying but to me it is music to hear this monster roar the only down fall is you cant have your rear slider open without goggles and facemask on in the cab, but if you went tall you might not have this problem, mabey I just have bad luck !

Mine is a single cab, and I just pulled the stacks and am running just a turn down instead of turn up into the stacks (much more pleasant to drive). Don't get me wrong, I loved the stacks! But when you drive for more then an hour with the regular cab and stacks the noise will get to you, and you can cross out driving with the windows open.

i've got dual 5"ers on my single cab. the noise doesnt bother me, it droans pretty bad around 2500rpm but i never have it tached that high for any extended time. the only complaint I have is soot gets in the cab if you startup with the windows down.... my headliner is slowly turning black

I have some pics in my gallery. I have a reg cab with a single 6 inch mitre about level with the cab. Love the look, and the noise is alright sometimes, but sometimes it is too much. I know I wont be able to handle it on the interstate because it gets a bad drone in the cab about 70 and more. I think I will try my 6 inch bull hauler and see if that is any better. My head liner is now pitch black too. And evertime it rains there is soot everywhere. I think the bull hauler or a turnout would keep it off everything but the bedside a little. It has its up's and downs.

Hey, thanks guys. What do you think the noise difference will be between 5", 6", and 7" stacks, besides sounding deeper will the larger pipe not sound so loud? Thanks!
