Question stacking TST w/ crazy larry or scary larry?

I'm wanting to try stacking a TST box with either the crazy larry or scary larry program. I understand this works good. I need those running this combination, to give me feedback, which settings on the TST has given them the best results? If someone has dynoed this combination before and after would be real beneficial. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a TST box if it doesn't ..appreciate any imput.

Thanks, Steve

IMO....coming from a Scary Larry owner.....

DON'T stack a TST and Scary Larry. waay too much timing. Yes its been done but its also been done at the cost of some engine parts. Search Crazy Larry 2.3.0 and read about what happened to Kingd.

Question

Thanks, that's kind of what I've heard as well??? I've tried stacking with other pressure boxes ie, edge, predator no gain whatsoever, in fact loss power...

Any other good news?

I thought that you can take the timing out of the new tst's? When I was at tst in February I dynoed the scarry larry with pressure box, the with my juice and made about 60hp more, then with tst on 5x5 and made 70 hp more. Then they burnt up my lock up switch sending tranny into safe mode so didn't get to try any more settings. Also they put a load on dyno like I've never seen before, they could actually kill the truck, also tires would spin so couldn't get any real good numbers. I was also told not to stack any other timing boxes but I don't get any timing rattle I hope this is what you were looking for

The basic TST box will add about 12 degrees timing total depending on various conditions. This is in addition to what a downloader may already be adding. This is too much timing and will kill turbos, head gaskets, etc. The really simple solution is to request the adjustable timing feature from TST. It may even come standard these days?? In addition, I would opt for the the multi. program feature as well as rail pressure. Then you will have infinite adjustability with your downloader, another set of gauges and boost fooling.

The Bully Dog has really nice and refined steps: 0-60-90-(too much).

I would suggest about 6 and perhaps 9 degrees timing in the TST in the AUTO mode only. I believe I am running 9 with the BDDL on Performance only. No rattler EVER.

440 HP with scarry larry,ez,80 hp injectors, cam, htt turbo, and spinning tires and rail pressure at 19,500 on tst's mustang dyno

501 hp with scarry larry,ez, hot juice on level 4 with smoke setting on 1, 80 hp injectors, cam, htt turbo and spinning tires

497 hp with water meth on

511 hp with scarry larry, tst r49 with rail pressure and no timing on level 5x5,cam,inj,turbo and spinning tires then we burnt up my convertor lock up switch sending tranny into limp mode. Like I said before when they loaded truck they could actually kill it,they put a load on it like i've never seen on a dyno before. The whole room smelt like burned rubber and my tires were chewed to hell.

I also seen on the hp & tq curve that just the down loader made good low end power but needed a box stacked on top of it to extend the power range and give it more on top end.

I believe these numbers are low due to spinning of tire and the load put on truck. I would have thought the truck to have been around 600 hp but I guess not. On Dave Dunbars dyno I put down 546 hp and 998 tq with crazy larry, juice on 2 x 5,inj,cam,turbo,water before ez and with slippng tranny.

Hell once I even broke the tire loose and slid it said ways a foot or two at 55 mph with 4 people in truck. I also believe after talking with John at Floor It that the size of inj are hurting me with the stock cp3 and that they didn't have the dyno set up correctly. They also tried to keep the truck in drive were alot of people are claiming higher numbers in OD.
