Hey DPU,

Welcome to the site! The Drag Comp already adds timing to the computer. The superchips tuner also adds timing. Stacking the two together would yield too much timing, which may increase pressure enough to blow out a head gasket. I believe there's a post here on DTR where someone tried it and their truck ran waaay to hot.

BTW, looks like a pretty sweet ride.

I have stack that Superchips tuner and pick up 25 30 hp on the dyno. But I do not suggest stacking the comp with the hypermax, the head gasket lasted 20 miles.

I stacked the EZ with the Superchip also. I did notice it set the P0216 code a couple of times (after really getting on the go pedal) with it stacked. I reprogram to stock hook the EZ back up and no code. I’ve played with this a couple of times on the higher settings of the Superchips and get the same thing. The truck did seem to be more responsive with the more aggressive timing. The truck ran, fine no rough idle or any other problems. I just didn’t like seeing that VP44 death code (p0216). Haven’t set the code since I removed the Superchips program.
FWIW If you decide to do this be sure to disconnect the Edge box before using the tuner. Then run the tuner and then hook the Edge back up. If you don’t the Tuner will try to overwrite the Edge box.
Just my $0.02

Thanks everone for replying. I guess I'll stick with what I have and maybe later on give the superchip a try.

I wouldnt stack the superchips programmer with the Edge box.
Too much timing comes to mind.

You would be suprised what a Drag Comp will do for you.
