what to stack??

If you are new to stacking be careful with stacking pressure boxes as some raise rail pressure more than others. High rail pressure kills injectors on these CR trucks. Smarty and TST are both excellent products.

The TST has some safeguards around it to help you be a safer operator with your truck.
But I have the mp-8 and have nothing but good things to say abut that in a stack. To me its fully controllable, the **** is direct and quick, and the power output is well noticeable. Spoolup is as fast as I like as well.

If it is a choice between TST and MP-8 I'd say TST.
First, TST will provide more power than the MP-8. Second, mp-8 is a pressure only box; depending on what TST model you get, they can adjust pressure too. So can the smarty. The TST can do it on the fly like an MP-8, just not as quickly or accurately. But the TST can do so much more.
Smarty/TST is a very strong stack on an 03-04. Be careful not to over do it and melt something. TST has to be used at lower levels, dependent on what smarty tune you are running. For example, if running TNT sw7-9, don't go over TST level 2/0. And do not add timing with TST if running timing with smarty. Just that 2/0 level can provide a tremendous increase over smarty alone depending on your supporting mods. Of course, if you are already maxing things out with smarty alone, you won't see much benefit with anything you stack with.
