My 2006 dually has 20,000mi. on it and the clutch pedal squeeks when you barely push on it.I just got under the dash and lubed all moving parts and made no difference.Any ideas? Thanks

happens on my wife's '07 jeep patriot, especially when it gets hot outside. had the dealership replace lots of parts (including slave cylinder), and presto! it still does it. seems it's not that uncommon on D/C clutches (i know 4 other people that have the squeak), but to tell you the truth, i don't even notice it anymore.

Don't know if this will help, but when I worked in a dealership we seen this alot and most of the time it was the linkage rubbing on the rubber boot where it passes through the fire wall. Just hit it with a little spray lithium and no more squeak. The steering shaft did it alot also.--Matt

Mine does the same thing when hot driving in traffic. Was am going to try a different brake fluid.

Tires are off for rotate and balance, so time for a DOT 4 brake system flush anyway.

My squeaky clutch pedal went away when I put on the 7" stacks. Now the radio does not work so well

I hunted that squeak for a while. I even pulled everything apart and lithium greased all the pivot points.... still squeaked. Good luck!

Happened to my truck. They replaced the clutch clyinder because the switch went bad and I could not start my truck with the clutch in. Good as new. Happened around 18k. Hope it does not happen right after the 36k warrenty!

Mine did it from the time it was new. Every oil change I complained and every oil change they squirted some lube on it and said go away. After about 75k on the odo it quit.

Mine has squeaked since it was new. I have just gotten used to it... With the noise from the SBC DD rattle I don't notice it much anymore.

Update:

Swapped the OE fluid for DOT4 Amsoil Brake fluid. Been hot and the noise is gone so far.

How did you swap the clutch hydraulic fluid since there are no bleeders to bleed the system?
