SPS 66 turbo bark.............
Is a BOV the answer?
I have a friend with an '07 5.9 with a 66 that barks all the time, is a blow off valve the answer or is something else going on that we're missing........
what is the cause of barking anyways.......is that the compressor stalling out when snapping off the throttle?

So a blow off valve would remedy the tendency for that to happen it would seem........
but the operation of a diesel with no air valve like a gaspot, shouldn't have this happen or even need a BOV?

My SPS 66 barks ALL the time when I back off suddenly and it use to do it when my tranny was slipping all the time, but since I put the new tranny in a year ago it only rarely does it. Personally unless its constantly doing it as you are driving down the highway i wouldnt worry about it. If you are contact II and i would talk to Brady, he should be able to help you out.
