Spot weld or Bolt?

I just got my new MBRP 5" exhaust tip today it looks sweet as anything...and I wonder what the recomendations are... should I have it tacked on with spot welds, or will it be secure and fine with the bolt on? I have stock exhaust just like the looks of the big shinny tip peeking out behind the tire, and I am thinking about doing a muffler delete.
The tip is the dual wall stainless, angle cut tip with a 5" outlet and the MBRP logo branded on the top next to the tip. it is sweet looking.

They clamped mine to make sure that's where I wanted it, then went to the shop to weld it.

When i did my exhaust I just tacked it and used band clamps to seal everything up.

I put my tip on with a band clamp over a year ago, and it has not moved.

Thats an awesome idea,.....why didn`t I think of that? . I had a tip on that I did`nt want to weld on so I used a small thru bolt. Needless to say the MIGHTY Cummins managed to shake it loose. Thankfully I caught it before it fell off totally. I`m going to try a band clamp, thanks for the idea!
