Sport headlights
Has anyone converted to the sport headlights? I've been looking at them on E-bay and am not sure if any of the aftermarket ones are any good or how hard they are to install. Is it a bolt in on an '02 and what wiring mods are needed? Is it worth it in the end...couldn't be worse than the stock setup.

I bought mine off EBay, so far so good. There is a picture in my gallery of how I wired mine up that might help you out on that part. And yes they are a direct bolt in, no modification required on your year truck. You will also need to make sure that you get sport corner lights or buy the 4 piece set. The corner lights you have now will not work with the sport headlights.

Thanks for the circuit diagram. Is there a way to plug your circuit into the stock harness or did you cut and splice into the wires? Do you remember the dealer or brand name for the lights you got?

I used some old bulbs that I had laying around for the connectors that plug into the stock harness. By doing it that way I was able to avoid cutting anything. I just broke the glass, crimped some wires to the legs that run into the bulb (I had to clip the one leg shorter so I had 3 individual wires) and filled the end full of silicone to make it watertight. I am sure that there is a source for that connector, but I don't know where to find them. I bought my lights from Pro Car Parts HERE is a link. You can also buy them HERE

I talked to daniel stern lighting and he has a kit to plug and play for our trucks. But me being me, I am going to do MLR1 did, I already got thelights, just trying to decide how/where to mount the relays. I'm kinda picky on things like this. Oh and I still have to get the actual sport lights

Yes they are wired so that all 4 lights are on. For the mounting of the relay's, on the driver side I mounted them on the inner fender just in front of the battery. On the passenger side I mounted them to the fan shroud.
