Get as much clean power as you can for your separates. Get the best separates as you can afford since the crossovers are what is going to be expensive for nice ones.

Your selections would probably make you happy. Years ago, during my last system build, I went with infinity which was a decent product then - don't know about now.

So you doing component front and rear? My years of doing audio seems a little pricey for what you get. If you are doing front and rears plus amp for just over 1k you could get a lot more for your coin. I assume your going to stick with factory unit. Pass experience says you won't be happy if you are using factory head end. With that said I've change head out if changing speakers. This is what I've done. All new speaks plus 1 amp to run 1 10" and it will make your ears bleed and give you a massage as well for just over $600.
Pioneer 3000IB head (should of went with 4000IUSB) 129.00
Infinity Kappa's front 6x9 two way /rear 5 3/4 two way 99.00 per pair
Infinity Kappa 10" custom sealed box by ME! sub 135.00
Ran by Alpine 450 mono block an 1/8 turned up 149.00
All at Crutch.
W/Sirius tied in/MP3
It'll work for you for what you looking at but not sure how she'll sound.

I think you could find a better amp for the same price.

i would not get those speakers. i read some reviews on them and not good sounding. those amps listed are way to pricey. $100 less and you can an alpine 4ch with the same power.
i am running a phoenix gold 4ch i payed around 125 and has that much power if not more. it is running alpine type R components up front and infinity reference 2ways in the back. i have the gain down to about half throttle plenty of power. also have 2 rockford fosgate p3 10" dvc in a under seat box powered by by a rockford fosgate T1000 mono amp talk about power! head unit is a alpine 9857.
point i am trying make is that i have all this stereo stuff and still don't think i have hit the $1000 mark. installed myself.
figure out how much you can spend and shop around. dealer cost audio is not that cheap. millionbuy.com on average is the best price going. onlinecarstereo i have heard bad reviews on there customer service. i have dealt with millionbuy and will vouch for their price and service.
hope this helps and let us know how everything turns out.

This is what you need for your setup running 2ohm.

I have an infinity basslink, they are ~$200 new

$125 or so on Craigslist.

it is an awesome sub for music.
it's not a rap pounding deal....but it does country nice, and it's clean and clear on stand up bass guitars on blue grass.

I run my headunit with the built in high pass crossover on the main speakers, and control the infinity with the sub controls on the head unit (usually do not get the remote control cable if used)

and it is 75% perfect, and would help your budget alot

do that for now, see how it sounds.
then when you get up some more coin,

another amp for the mains (i would go used alpine or JL)
and another basslink, and i would be 95%

I have a Jensen in dash flip screen that I am running right now. I will be swapping that eventually for a standard in dash in the future. I have JBL 6.5's for the rears now ran off the headunit. I will be amping the front JBL 608GTI's with an amp for the power. Just looking for which amp. Will that JBL amp be good for me. Seems like a good amp, for a good price.

Noticed your components you want are 4ohm, the JBL I said above won't work, not enough power. I would recommend this one since you don't need a 4ch and this one has a subsonic filter. This will give you a little more than rms rated power to your components but then you can tune the amp down for efficiency.

Okay well that sounds good because I did place an order for that amp, and was the one I was going to go with.

That company however I did not have good luck. I placed my entire order 1 full month ago, and after 3 weeks of going back and forth they sent me my speakers, but forgot about the amp. I think I will order that amp but elsewhere.

You might take a look at www.hifisoundconnection.com too.

Pretty decent deals.

There are some smokin' sales going on at many car stereo shops right now too.

Something to be aware of is that most, if not all, factory head units come with some equalization programmed in to make the factory systems sound a particular way with the factory speakers and cabin. The tone controls work within that equalization. The systems we sell to Chrysler for addtion to SRT vehicles as an option reflash the equalization on the produciton line to re-set the equalization.

Very often simply adding speakers and an amp will not sound as good as it could if you add a head unit too. Head units are CHEAP these days.
