Just finished getting the dual disc clutch in, install the new hydraulics, mount the slave up, master in the firewall, and go to hook the linkage to the pedal, and I have move the pedal all they way to the floor to connect them. I have zero stroke, and the pedal can't come back towards the seat at all. Any ideas what is wrong here? I did the hydraulics in my dually two years ago, no issues, just had to adjust the rod out. These ones aren't adjustable, so it seems I am FUBARed. Gonna call Peter tomorrow, and Peak on Tuesday if need be. To top it off, I gave my old hydraulics to Diesel Dave, and he drove off just before I found this.

Not adjustable? Mine has threads, spins in or out.

I do however believe that I too lost some overall stroke on mine too.

Did you try lengthening the rod that hooks to the clutch pedal as suggested? It has alot of travel in that rod.

How do you adjust it? Nothings threaded, and the tag that says how to hook it in and all that jazz, the adjusting part is blacked out with a felt. I'm gonna call Peter tomorrow and hopefully resolve this. I can't even start the truck. I was gonna swap my lift pump out, but can't start it as is, and I'd like to take on one problem at a time.

I had the same problem about a month ago when I changed out my factory hydraulics for the SB unit.

The adjusting rod was cranked all the way in and the truck wouldn't start. The rod that fits into the clutch pedal is the adjustable part. It doesn't look like it when you first look at it but it does spin in and out to be able to adjust you pedal height.

Actually, I use this feature now as a security system. If I park the truck in a "questionable" area, I just reach in and lower the clutch pedal enough so the interlock won't engage and the truck doesn't start.

Talked to SBC, and then to Harry at Peak. I got the wrong set, but the right ones are going to be out tomorrow to me. They sent me the ones for a 94-97, which are non-adjustable. So I should be fixed up by Wednesday.
