clutch slipping bad, need to replace soon going to go with either south bend ofe or fe, price is only $100.00 difference between the 2 would there be any benefit to going with the ofe or spend the extra $100 and get the fe and be done

My OFE held 555/960 with drag racing thrown in.

It was smooth as butter 90% of the time. If it gets a bit grabby, just do a hard launch or two and it will smooth out again.

The OFE is awesome. Don't get the FE with your current mods. You'll hate backing up with it. You'd be better off with a dual disc.

Also, South Bend has some of the best customer service I've ever seen, bar none. You won't regret going with South Bend.

Another thing too- Supposedly if you get the OFE to slip, it will grab again. The FE won't grab again until you let off. At least that's what I was told by a guy who ran both. Could be wrong, though. I don't know, as mine never, ever slipped.
