South Bend con fe and g56?
I recently installed a con fe in my truck (a 2005 g56) with the spacer kit from a 2003 with the NV transmission. I also installed his hydrualics in my truck now I have to drive the truck like a big rig becuase the clutch does not disengage. I am uprgrading to a dual disk very soon and will be getting the upgraded hydraulics at that point. I have a sled pull coming up tomorrow and need to make some improvement on driveability. My feeling is for some reason the hydraulics worked with the nv transmission and not my g56. Ive tried different amounts of washers in the slave cylinder and also have had one washer and none behind the pivot ball. Is there anything I can do to these hydraulics just to get it to shift this clutch for about a week? I have a dual disk and 3600 plate load with the upgraded hydraulics coming. Once i stop i cannot get the truck into reverse and its always trying to move even with the clutch in.

I have the Con FE in my truck with G56 and havent had any problems other than i initially didnt adjust the correct length of the rod at the clutch pedal. You may want to check that. It was kinda a pain to get it in and out of gear sometimes then i adjusted that and all is cool. Hope this helps.
