source for front wheel bearings

Besides Chrysler does anybody have a source for the front wheel bearings for a 98 12valve 4X4. Make and part number would be a help as well. Looking for the best price of course.

The front bearings are one part I've found that my dealer comes in cheaper.
Best bet is to call around.

WVA, thanks. I've been wanting to do the conversion. MUCH cheaper than the other place I've seen that has them.

i posted about ems a couple weeks ago......I ll have mine finished up tomarrow. I got the first kit. It was complete, and pretty darn nice. The stock 4x4 bearing is not replacable, its a unit bearing and about the same cost as the ems stuff.

Thanks guys. Was doing this for my neighbour who has a clicking kind of noise in his left front. The universal joints all seem to be nice and tight but so do the bearings. At a bit of a loss here right now.

i had clicking for along time......i checked things out a couple times. Last time, about 3 weeks ago, the right front unit bearing was smoked, the rotor destroyed/ kit the backing plate etc.....I even tried to put a stock unit bearing it,, after a week , getting one shipped out from the east coast, it was the wrong one, so I called ems. I was quoted 360 for the oem unit bearing plus a rotor and pads....about 500, which is about half the ems set up.

it probably clicked for a year...

I've got the clicking on the front left. I've jacked the wheel up, and it feels fine. No noticeable movement at all. Spins free, other than the one spot where the rotor is warped and it drags a bit.

My boss had to replace the left front unit bearing on his '97 GMC this past week. It was trashed, though.
