Aside from having waaaaaaay too much time on his hands, I guess it's pretty clever. But can you imagine being his neighbor? That might get old, quick!

I'll bet his electric meter is spinning faster than turbo on a Cummins running at 5,000 RPM.
Probably had to install an intercooler on it.

Way Cool display though.

Wow. I wouldn't even know where to start to make something like that happen. I did bookmark it though and I sent my wife an e-mail telling her that's what we're gonna do this year.

Watching that full screen, it looks kinda phony.

The steam rising from the road in front of the house keeps shifting back and forth.
Not sure if it is the lights making it look that way, or if it is a creative edit job.

My vote is for creative editing.

Here's Snopes take on them
http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp

I still say it's a bit of fakery.

I want to add a few more cents..... cannot turn christmas lights on and off that quick.... they glow for a fraction of a second after they are turned off..... these change by the frame..... one frame on, next frame of......... would have to be LEDs in order to do that..... still cool though....
