It would be great to have our chapter president there. I don't know what you're payin' for fuel but there's a station that has diesel at $2.95 a gallon right now not to far from the event so you can fill up when you get here. Maybe it'll keep coming down???
It's a 76 at the corner of Topanga and Burbank for anyone else in the area.

This is pretty close to me, I think I can show up but no dyno, $$$ is tight right now, I just picked up a travel trailer that I had to drop $600 for registration that was never paid by the previous owner but I was told it was. As for diesel prices, $2.89 at Chevron, Sierra Hwy and San Fernando Rd right off hwy 14 up here in Santa Clarita.

[verymad][verymad] [yuk][yuk] :(:(
I am very very disappointed to report I will not be able to attend our 1st Dyno Day. I have just learned that the woman of the house has run one of our accounts into the negative by by about $350. Needless to say I don't think this thanksgiving will be for any excess, although I still have plenty to be thankful for. And on top of this I noticed this morning that one of my rear tires is cracked and the tread is starting to separate and the belts are visible!! [yuk] Thats what you get for used tires I guess.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mopar Man. You have done a great thing organizing this event and I hope it is very memorable and fun for all those who attend. Some Chapter President I turned out to be right?
I hope that many of you will bring your handi cams and digitals and flood this forum with photos and movies. I am praying that my situation will improve, and that I can attend as well as organize more of these. Times are getting tougher for everyone and recreation is the first thing to suffer for sure. But I still want to keep our Little So-cal DTR group going and growing.
I am continuing work on the membership data base with all of the apps. I have received thus far, and I hope to start having a monthly news letter or something soon.
Until the next one I guess. Have fun all and be safe!! Take pictures/movies so bums like me can still enjoy the fun!!
Again I truly apologize, I thought for sure we had enough money but this little secret killed me.
Keep thinking of events and throwing them out here, plan something your self or present an idea this chapter is so vast it can be hard to get every body in one place and one time. even local events count with 2 or three trucks, post pics build relationships and have fun!!
I look forward to news on the turn out,
[director] Don't forget to pitch DTR to all those who aren't on here!! I am sure cummins forum is cool but were better!! ;)

We only live once, things that we pass on now might not be there tomorrow or in the future.......... Maybe you could come and be there, I'm sure that some of us can bring some extra food.......I'm sure that if you come, you won't regret it.
How many are bringing their better halfs, or worst halfs if you want to call them that (HAha)??? This could be a good get together for us all........
Have a good T-day!!!!

I didn't know I had to cook/grill also..I was bringing the grill for all of us to use.
You think I'm gonna be the cook.......think again buddy [laugh] LOL Seriously, I can do some grilling but those of us that brings food to grill, can do their own, if some haven't used a grill before it'll be something else they can learn that day... If it comes to it, I guess I can do the cookin'. I'm rusty, haven't done it in awhile so no one can complain to the cook. LOL
I'm gonna borrow my in-laws barbeque so we'll at least have two.

I may not be the best company, buy it won't cost you nearly as much. They we can put you to work on the grill cause no one else seems to want the job. We could even put out a tip jar, and make back some of the fuel money it will take to get you to Palmdale. So no excuses. And I mean literaly no money for anything, got a few coins out of the couch but I am having to dip in to the food storage for this one.

Hi John. Well moparman was in charge and he was going to let everyone post their own numbers, so I don't have them all. I ran 372 after messing around for about 40 minutes trying to figure out where to hook up the RPM pickup on my new 6.7. We finally gave up cause once we found where to hook up, we put it in drive and the tach totally changed again. By that time, I had idled in drive long enough to get my engine temp up high enough to set an alert on my juice with attitude. Not a good way to start a dyno run.
There was another 6.7 with almost the identical set up that ran a 375 hp. He beat me by 3 hp,,,,, but was running a hot juice and didn't get to hot before he ran. NO FAIR!!!![laugh][laugh] One guy with twins ran around 650 and another with veggie fuel and water meth etc etc. pulled out a 750 something. He even thought that was pretty high tho. :o:o
All in all the guys at B and D racing did a great job even though they usually dyno Mustangs. They were great sports and repeatedly tried to give is way more time than even I felt comfy with. Thanks to them and all who showed up. Sorry I don't have all the numbers. Next time I will make sure to do the book keeping. [laugh]

I woke up with major sinus pressure and start of infection. That was at 5 am, I have some serious meds to kill it, I'm still not 100% but alot better.
How many went to the event?? Which truck is yours?? I recognized moparman's truck and a couple of guys there.

[laugh]

Ya it really is an awesome truck. I can't wait for ATS to get some new stuff dialed in for it. Then I think I will be down right dangerous!!![coffee][laugh]

It was nice seeing all the different trucks there. We didn't stay to long since I had a 6yr old that was getting bored and our friend was on crutches and needed to get off of them for a bit. Maybe the next meet we'll be able to stay longer and visit.

I'm back to norm., getting up that early (to get ready for dyno ) actually helped me kill my sinus inf. before it really set in. I have sinus problems.
Anyway, now you have an idea how to do things on organizing for the next function. Right?? All is a life experience. Live and learn, something new everyday.

Dealer, and total Fan. I love their products and Customer service. Do some work for them too.
Just did the converter in my 6.7. Awesome.
