Smoking at idle, injector leak?
My truck started smoking at idle about a month ago (white/bluish smoke). Seems to be worse when it is up to full operating temperature. I think it might be an injector with a slight leak. It runs strong and smooth from idle on up. It has 97,000 miles on it. Any ideas?
Thanks

My 04.5 had the white smoke on start-up and rough idle over the summer. Since it has cooled off and the grid heater cycles fully first thing in the morning, the smoke and rough idle have disappeared completely!!! Don't know if that helps any? I have almost 30k on her now.

Smoke
No, it idles very smooth. Just smokes at idle, when I take off it stops the white smoke with just a slight application of throttle. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow, we'll see...

My 05 with the cat and muffler removed does this also, (smokes at idle). I just figure its normal. Did notice it with the mufler and cat in place, but then again they came off at about 600 miles
