Smoked Headlights?

Has anybody used a product like this on their headlights before? Good? Bad?
My truck is black and I have it pretty much all debadged and blacked out. But I need to finish it off soon and complete the "look". Headlights need something done. Suggestions? TIA.

No, I can't get away. I've got a project about to kick off and my first grandchild is due, daughter would not forgive me if I wasn't here for the big day.

Anyways on a more serious note and back to the question, I would not recommend that product if you leave you headlight bulbs stock. The stock bulbs are trucks come with are piece of worthless junk that throw out no light and have a semi decent light pattern. Maybe if you upgrade your bulbs or even throw on a HID kit it might work out better. It will probably make the front look cooler looking and another concern might be whether they are legal or not I’m not sure if it depends upon the state.

It looks sweet on all the other lights, but as stated above I would only use it on the headlights if you have a brighter bulb or hids, I have black covers on mine and it sucks at night, I will be putting my HIDS back in, other than that the film works good.

Those things are tricky to put on. I got some for my truck and ended up screwing them up. The curves and contours that the headlights on these trucks have make it really hard, but with some patience and experience it can be done. They will hinder your night time vision some, but I don't think it would be too much if you went with a light smoke film instead of a dark tint.

I appreciate the comments as I have no experience with this type of product or even changing out the headlight bulbs. That is why im asking the "experts" here!
Maybe it would be better for me to replace the whole headlight assembly?
I have to do something to finish out the "black out". I am also looking at getting some Recon Smoked Cab Lights.
XLR8R....im sure whatever Daddy Wiggs has.....would involve me taking out a big loan!

I guess this would actually be a better way to go. My concern now is trying to get the stocker headlight assembly out without removing the Ranch Hand. Im not sure how the clearance would be for removal.

I had similar covers on my 03 they were just lense covers which those look to be and nighttime driving even with hid bulbs was obsolete even with brights on all the time it was dimmer then regular lighting. But the did look good i got mine from sylin concepts i believe.
