Smarty TNT
Now that I have my Airdog and clutch I fianlly bought a Smarty. My local performance shop upgraded me to the TNT tune. I loaded the smarty on SW#5 and put the TQ to 4 and rail pressure to mild. Before the smarty I had a Diablosport Predator. The smarty makes a lot more torque down low but don't feel as powerfull on the top end. I realize the smarty is just on 5. If I lowerd the TQ would I get more top end? On a normal take off it isn't that impressive but if I get on the brakes a little and build some boost WOW! I can break traction in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th if I try. Just looking for some tuning info.

On a stock CP3,TNT, SW5, TQ4, it is possible that you are running out of fuel on top because you are demanding too much down low. You can try TQ2/3, see if that helps.
My guess is, you are just getting to the top so fast with the Smarty, it just "feels" like you have less on top. Feels kind of like it's de-fueling?

I don't have a RP gauge. It don't feel like it is running out of fuel unless I get on and then off and then on again. It pulls hard from the bottom all the way up. I think the reason it don't feel like it has much top end is because the Diablo would not fuel hard until the higher RPMs, where the Smarty fuels from the bottom all the way up. The Smarty fuels much smoother than the Diablo. What about downloading one of the newer beta tunes? Which is the best?

There are no newer beta tunes, and if you have the most recent Revo TNT, you cannot go back to the betas.
Just keep tuning on the software you have, there are multiple possibilities, don't give up yet!
Remember, when you change options(tq,tm,rp,etc) you have to download the sw again, because the option won't take until you do. Have fun!

TNT on my 07 is a beast but the surging is horrible. Hopefully the Floor It DIY CP3 kit will make it go away or it's wait time for Marco to give us a refined TNT software...

Over the weekend I downloaded the SW7 tune with tq on 4 rail pressure on mild. All I can say is wow! The throttle response is awesome! When I pulled out in 2nd the truck got sideways in the road. The smarty fuels evenly from lower rpms to the high rpms. One thing though, when I would shift at 3000, the rpms didn't want to drop. What does this mean?
