Smarty on a stock 01-02 HO Motor

Any of you guys running a Smarty on a fairly stock 01-02 HO motor? Looking to see how you like or dislike the performance.

I put one one on my stock '02 (only had a BHAF and a 4" exhaust) and it was like a totally different truck. Can't recommend it enough. Way more giddy up and go down low.

MMoyle, I have an 01 HO 6spd that is fairly close to stock at the moment. I do have straight thru exhaust (factory diameter, just eliminated muffler) guages, AFE stage 1 air intake and the Smarty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone getting one of those!!! When I first installed mine about 2 months ago, I couldn't believe it was the same truck. As has been said before, you will not see huge gains on a dyno, but the power is there instantly and all the way to redline and beyond. You must be cautious in low traction environments such as rain, I have had the rear tires break loose in 5th gear if you lug the engine down say after a turn, then floor it to get up to speed. It will get your attention in a hurry. IMHO it is the very best single mod you can do to your truck.

Hey guys - Thanks for the replys! Are any of you running a modified fuel system? For example: Relocated lift pump, FASS, big line kit, or anything that helps prolong the infamous VP44/lift pump issues? I am interested on how your truck responds with the smarty on a stock fuel system. Did you see any issues with fuel pressure after the install of the smarty?

I'm running the Scotty Smart Fuel line kit. Bigger lines/fittings from the hard line of the tank to the LP and then from the LP to the IP.
Prior to the install (and without the Smarty), I was running around 14 psi at idle, 11 at cruise, and 6 or so at WOT. After the install, Idle is still the same, cruise is 12 or so and WOT I can't get it below 10 psi (even with the Smarty on level 7) .
I just had DonM's Mach1.6's installed this weekend and I still can't pull the pressure below 10 psi at WOT
