Smarty/ smoke
I just installed smarty 4.11ad311a47 on sw7. Ok for now, but too much smoke for the towing season. My 5er would be cover in soot. Should I wait for the beta programs. Will they have less somke? Is there another program that would better meet my needs.
Thanks for your response

Less smoke? use the aftermarket injector version with mild TM. That should do it. The betas, like 4.2-4.4 have more power and with that power comes more smoke.

why are you running moderate tq delete?
I would try this for a lot less smoke

I wanted to try it. I do not do boosted lunches. The trans shifts really nice. I believe it shifts smoother now than after I did the trans upgrade and used the mild TM.
Thanks for the recommendations, I will try them. Should I stay with sw 7?

I noticed recently on a tow a few hundred miles, running level 7, wild TM, that as soon as the trailer his hooked up, smoke levels go way down. The big load makes the boost hit much faster & it kills the smoke.
FYI.
ps - it towed at speed or higher, with very little pedal, and very low EGT's.
