Smarty or smarty jr?
I have a 07 5.9 ctd auto with a afe intake and straight pipe exhaust. I want a smarty but can't decide which one to get. I want smoke but is it worth the extra $200? I won't go over level 3.

None of the new programs out for sr. or jr. smoke very much compared to the old versions....that's a positive to many people....i'm kind of torn....i missed the smoke for a while, until you can haul Edit without Edit people off...then you get used to not having it....you can still get tailgaters and such, you just have to try harder and lug the motor...the auto's do it great if you get on it at 50mph in 4th gear....or with a higher level if you punch it off the line...

The Jr will smoke some.
The 100hp setting will leave a good fog if you stay in it.
The Economy and tow very little driving it normal.
Then again, what constitutes normal??

Me too, I think. I still want as much smoke as my Crazy Larry though, so Im still between Jr and X2(for the gauge)

Once you try level 3, your gonna want to see what 5 is like. A smarty is like an addictive drug...you're gonna want more. Might as well go with the Sr., it has my vote.

We did not get the tq because the big guys with the 1000hp motors broke it. and I had my edge Juice W/Attitude plugged in on the 0 level just to monitor the levels and for mods air box has a 4" down tube with amsoil air filter and the muffler is MIA. But if I install the JR I'll need more air because it pulled my indicator on my box lid all the way in.

To JR or not
I am thinking about going with the JR as well but was curious what the TM is like compared to the SR model? Also, what are the EGT's like with the JR towing? I have the XZT now and the power is good but it does run the EGT's up quick while towing and that is why I wanted the box. Pulling a small load of around 3K on level three the pyro will hit and hold 1450-1500 easily.
One last thing, what can I expect from JR compared to my XZT box? I like the smooth power and driveability of the XZT, will the JR keep the same driving characteristcs? All info will be appreciated.
