Smarty settings for drag racing

Hey guys so I am going drag racing tom and am wondering what might be a good setting for the smarty. I have standard revo software and a mostly stock pickup(see sig). Right now I have it on level 9 with all other settings at default. Thanks in advance

Any clutch slippage yet? After tomorrow I'm willing to bet there will be. Mine slips on anything over SW5.

no slipping yet. I usually run it on SW 5 with no problems. I just bumped it up today to test it. The clutch is my main concern and I dont want to ruin it just for a little fun. That being said I plan to upgrade my clutch soon and want to see what my pickup will do.

If you don't want to ruin your clutch stay on sw5.

If you're planning on a new clutch anyways I would try sw7, for some reason all the sw7 programs have seemed to be stronger that the sw9 programs. But you will more than likely break her loose.

Should only take a couple runs and your clutch should be in real good shape. Only about $1300 for the new SB clutch set up.

Right your are boss but you also have to buy the hydraulics to push it.

It still $200 less than normal. $200 is alot now days considering how quickly it leaves our pockets.

Too bad you don't have the nv5600, it doesn't have to have the upgraded hydraulics, its recommended , but I know of plenty ppl who don't have it done...

Don't you need a lift pump for SW7 and 9? Thought it would drain the rail otherwise, hurting you after ya launch.

Are you speaking about the Standard Revo tune, sw7 being stronger than sw9? Has anyone actually proved this on a dyno? Or is this just seat of the pants guesswork?

The reason I am asking, is I just unloaded TNT, and loaded the Revo. Sw9 seems fair off the bottom, then kind of falls off on top. 411 seemed stronger, but just like the betas you lose all the adjust options.

I am pretty much tuning all over again, I just added an Arson III, believing I could finally run the TNT software..... not happening, still bucking and popping. I will try sw7 this weekend when I get back home... sure wish Mads would get a tune for our 03/04 trucks that would perfrom like TNT on the 04.5+ trucks.

Okay so my best run was a 15.492 @ 91.55mph which I'm pretty happy with especially considering it was about 5200' above sea level. I had absolutely no clutch slippage but my biggest problem was my launch. My first run I slipped the tires and had to feather the pedal until it hooked. Second run was my best with a slight amount of tire slippage but it kept the turbo spooled well. The third run I bogged it and lost 1/2 sec. on my 60' time. BTW I ran it in 2wd all day.

I can't say that about the revo or TNT for myself, but that is the word thats been around for some time. Its proven on the old betas, and seat of the pants on revo/ TNT seem to have the same consensus.
