Has anyone run the timing set on 4 for extended periods of time, I mean like weeks or months. I know people said they 4 had too much injector rattle and didn't think it would be good for the engin long term. I just loaded sw7 with the timing set on 4 and i do hear a little more rattle than normal but it isn't bad. The reason i'm asking is i just got almost 200 miles on on 1/8 of a tank so i'm liking this setting but if it's going to hurt my truck i want to change it.

Been running Timing 4 for a few months now. No issues to report.

I have ran it on long trips with no issues. Makes about 2mpg better for me.

Running mine on 4 for about 4 weeks rattle not bad to me.

Ok great. I've just heard a lot of people complain about it and not too many people that like it so thanks guys for sharing your info.

I am sure some people will complain, every truck is different and with that being said some trucks like timing and some don't. I say you will be fine
