I'm using it on a bone stock truck. You can really feel the differance when you change the settings. I use it mostly on the economy settings, with the POD turned down to about 60. That gives me 13-14mg around town, and 18-19 on the highway at 75-80mph. Country back roads where speeds are lower will get me 22mpg.

I also turn the power down to try and increase longevity of other components: u-joints, trans, diff, etc. Turning down the power also makes it easier to drive in the snow.

When I tow, I change the program and up the POD to 99.

Well worth the money

I have had mine for about a year now, and I wouldnt want to be without it. It is day and night without it. When I have to take it out for some reason(going to dealership), I really see what a BIG difference it makes. The truck feels like a turd without it now. Well worth the money.

I've had mine for about a year and a half. I love it. It makes the truck much more lively. Never had an issue with it.

I love mine. Bought it because there were only three basic settings. You can adjust the three but I know me...if I have it, I will use it. Had I gone with the bigger Smarty, I bet my wallet would be a little light due to repairs, lol.

i got the smarty jr night before last loaded the tow tune and went to fuel up. said to my self that thing didnt change a thing. loaded 27, 6 weight calves in the trailer and let out on the clutch and idled out of the pens and said well maybe it did. hauled said calves 100 miles and yes it absolutely made a difference. the programming is smooth as silk and has a lot of grunt on bottom and in the middle.

You should have gages even if you're stock! With Jr, maybe a lift pump may be recommend other than that nothing else. Sr on the other hand can be starting with lift pump all the way to studs springs, etc. It all depends on what tune on the Sr. You can go up to 230+hp at the wheels!

The JR is made to work with a stock truck.

That said, I use gauges, an open air intake, and a Magnaflow exhaust.......

The samrty junior is capped at 100 hp to the rear wheels , the full smarty is capable of 230 hp to the rear wheels with other supporting mods plus it offers the revo software for custom tuning along with power on demand.

so would a smarty jr be the best way to go for the money or the smarty sr. don't mean to hijack the thread but i just want some more power for my truck. i don't drag race or sled pull but i do like playing with it on the interstate sometimes i have the quad II but found out that i have timing only so i was going to leave it on for the rail pressure guage and just run a smarty jr., sr. or a bully dog
