Can you fill out your signature so we know what you're driving, and when you say pros and cons, what are you trying to compare it against (stock, another tuner like bully dog, etc.) and for what purpose (fuel mileage, towing, etc.)?

Here's a quick list off the top of my head:

Besides the initial cost (a bit of a con), I've been very happy with both the Smarty Sr. and now the Smarty Jr.

A pro is the ability to read codes and set various options like tire size, etc.

A con is that you have no on the fly adjustability, but that should change when they offer the Power on Demand (POD) capabilities on the Jr.

If you want to buy the Jr. now, they should be able to add the POD hardware down the road when it becomes available.

I've also noticed an increase in fuel mileage with both versions of the Smarty.

Another pro in my mind is the torque management option, which allows you to increase the power at take-off vs. stock, but then that can be a con if you tend to abuse the truck. My truck was a dog off the line stock, but with Smarty, it's now accelerates away from stop lights with (controlled) authority.
