X2...

The power is so much smoother... I can't personally comment on the Jr, as I have the SR, however, the difference between it and my edge was night and day.
Plus, it has a better re-sale value when you decide to move up to the Sr

Oh, yeah.

Not to sound biased here... the majority of the DTR is pro smarty. On it's defence, the edge is not a bad box, and it has a lot of good features, like shift on the fly, a turbo timer, and gauges. It is not as adjustable as the smarty, per se, but it is a decent box.

As for that K&N, I have heard that it lets large particles in, causing a condition called 'dusting' the motor. I don't have proof for you, but if you do keep it, I would inspect the inside of my breather tube for dust every so often.

Welcome to the DTR. Fill your sig out so everyone knows what you have.

I have an air raid drop in, personally, I like that one. AEM brute force is a good one, I'm sure others will chime in.

I would look for an oil free/dry re-useable filter if I had it to do over again.

My smarty is on SW9 always and change my settings with the skiny pedal. Only time I turn it down is when I pull alot of weight.
