smarty and no high idle in 2003?
ok guys i have my smarty hooked up and was wondering what the deal is with the high idle? i know you have to put the cruise on and then hit set but it doesnt work on mine. am i doing something wrong or does the 03 just not work with this issue? thanks

Not available for us cause we have vacuum operated cruise and not electronic. BD power used to have a high idle kit that works off the crank sensor not sure if still available. In the winter I use a big ice scraper between the seat and pedal.

Actually it is the ECM that is the hangup. 04-07 can have this option. I have the vaccum assisted Cruise control and my cruise control high idle works just fine.

My high idle works fine, nothing to do with Smarty, it is automatic depending on outdoor temps.
I know you were refering to the manually set high idle available with Smarty.
