sluggish after cat removed???

just wondering if anyone has felt this as well, i took my cat out as soon as i got my truck so i dont know if it was better with the stock exhaust i drive new trucks every day [tech at dodge] and the ones with backpressure in the exhaust feel perkier off the line, the guy at tech line told me that the ecm was programed to see the backpressure that is why it is a little doggier out of the hole that it would be with the cat in, i know about all the more air in and more exhaust out stuff but give me your honest opinions here because in thinking of trying my cat again and see how it feels but dont want to spend too much money for nothing... thanks

gutted the cat and put a mbrp straight thru muffler on the wifes truck ...

seat of pants dyno feels like an improvement but that could just be the noise ...

no noticable difference in mileage ...

what sensor reads backpressure?

i think that itts the big picture about the sensors, like the electronic wastegate or the map maybe they like a little bit of pressure ?????, the only reason i brought this up is that my mbrp duals are a bit too droney for me when pulling loads so its either put in another resonator, factory muffler, or try the cat again, its proven on our dynos that there is no power to be gained by removing the cat with slightly modded engines like most of us, and very small egt drop also, so why did i remove it ??????????????????????
