slow 02 with edge comp?
well I have an 02 that I put a comp on in ez mode and it seems to be slower than without, but it still puffs some smoke when i get on it, Also it runs great after 50 mph. Now let me tell u, the box is for an 01, so I just put an 01 map sensor in my truck and had a diesel shop make me the appropriate harness. I have been told the only differences in the map sensor are the plug design, So the only thing I can think of is that the made harness connections are not soldered together but twisted and taped, If thats not the problem what else could it be?

I got a comp in EZ on my 02 and ya can tell a difference , What sub level are ya useing ??? If your on sublevel 1or2 you wont feel anything till late in the rpm range. Sublevel 3-4 -5 youll feel it right away.

Well since its in ez mode I left the levels at 1 on both. The truck just falls on its face at 2500 and it just feels like a dog. But when I hit 50 or the truck pulls pretty nicely because it stays at a lower rpm. I guess it just isnt what I expected to be

If you're running it in the EZ mode, turn it up to level 5X5.
The timing will come in sooner, as it uses the "smoke level" settings to add timing too.

well i moved the ground to the battery and it seemed to help a bit but the defueling seems to start so early and it doesnt have enough time to make power. I dont know it just irritates me because stock the acceleration from a stop seemed to be just as fast because the engine is working through the whole rpm band.
